Your Privacy Matters

At Primly, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our interview preparation service.

What we store

Some parts of Primly can be used before you sign up. Once you have an account, this is what we keep:

• Your account details: email address, name if you give one, and sign-in method.
• Your resumes, the job postings you add, and everything Primly generates for them (questions, answers, tailored resumes, cover letters, recruiter-screen prep, briefings), so you can come back to them. They stay until you delete the job or your account from the Account page.
• Practice sessions: the transcript and the feedback are kept with the job so you can review them. Audio recordings are not retained after the session completes.
• Before signup, the general resume-health check does not store your resume or report on Primly's server. If you start a job prep and continue into account creation, this browser keeps the draft and Primly temporarily stores an encrypted copy of the job and any resume so an email or Google sign-in can finish on another device. The callback carries only a random link token; Primly stores only its hash. The encrypted copy is wiped when the prep is created; otherwise it becomes inaccessible after 24 hours and is wiped by hourly retention cleanup. To enforce the free-use limit, Primly stores a salted hash derived from the network address and a timestamp, never the raw address; that marker is scheduled for deletion after 7 days.

How We Use Your Information

We process this information to deliver Primly's features, maintain your saved prep, and support your ongoing use of the platform.

• Job Descriptions: Used to analyze role requirements and generate relevant questions
• Resumes (Optional): Processed to personalize questions based on your experience
• Company Names (Optional): Used to research interview patterns

Third-party services

Primly runs on a small number of providers, each of which receives only what it needs for its job: OpenAI (generating questions, answers and resume drafts from the text you add), Supabase (sign-in and file storage), Stripe (payments; Primly never sees your card number), Resend (email), Railway (hosting and database). Your data is sent to OpenAI for processing only and is not used to train their models.

Cookies and analytics

We use session cookies to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, buttons clicked). You can block analytics with a browser extension or your browser's tracking settings without losing any functionality.

Data security and deletion

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our providers, and access is limited to what the product needs. You can delete any job, and your whole account, from the Account page; deletion removes your account and your data from our database and cancels any subscription first.
