interviewing at Wells Fargo in about 3 weeks for a product manager role in their digital banking group. i've seen some threads that are 2-3 years old but the process might have changed. anyone done a PM loop there recently, say 2025 or 2026? curious about: round count, whether there's a case or take-home, and how technical the panel goes. drop your loops below.

did a PM screen for their digital payments team in late 2025. got to the panel round but withdrew. the loop at the stage i reached was: recruiter call, then hiring manager 1:1, then a 3-person panel. the panel included one behavioral, one product sense, and one stakeholder/cross-functional question. no take-home that i saw. they did ask me to walk through a product i'd launched in the panel, pretty standard.

i heard from someone on my team who went through it in early 2026 that they've added a brief product critique exercise, about 20 minutes, somewhere in the panel. they hand you something and ask what you'd change and why. not sure if it's every role or just certain teams.

that's useful, i'll prep a critique framework just in case. did your colleague know what product they were shown?

she said it was their own mobile app, which makes sense. so download it, walk through it critically before you go in.

not WF specifically but general big-bank PM advice: they care a lot about regulatory and risk tradeoffs in product decisions. frame your product sense answers with some acknowledgment that you can't ship fast-and-loose in banking. usually scores well.
