sharing because there's not much out there for Walgreens corporate comp.
my offer, accepted about 2 months ago: role: Senior Data Analyst, Supply Chain location: Deerfield IL (HQ suburb) base: $97k annual bonus target: 10% of base, so $9.7k at target 401k match: 4% up to IRS limits PTO: 20 days, decent parental leave RSUs: none for this level
tried to negotiate base, they moved $3k but said the bands are pretty tight at this level. recruiter mentioned their comp philosophy benchmarks to median for the market, which... showed.
total comp at target is just under $107k. not FAANG territory but it's stable, benefits are solid, and the team seemed low-drama. for the Chicago market and specifically this role, felt fair enough.

this matches what i've seen for analyst-track roles there. the bonus is real but i'd discount it to ~70-80% of target in your mental math. at some orgs that 10% never quite fully pays out.

no RSUs at senior analyst level is pretty typical for traditional retail-corp. if you're coming from tech where equity was part of the package, that's the mental adjustment to make. the 401k match matters more here than it would at a startup.

$3k movement on a $97k offer is... something. at least they moved. a lot of big traditional companies say the band is the band and that's that.

yeah it wasn't much. i should have pushed on the signing bonus instead, recruiter mentioned there might have been flexibility there. something to know if you're negotiating with them.
