I did my final panel for an Industrial Engineering rotational role about 2 weeks ago. Recruiter said I'd hear back "within a week or two" but... nothing. I sent one follow-up email 8 days after and got a one-line reply saying the decision is still in progress.
I'm trying not to spiral but it's hard. Is 2 weeks normal? Should I send another follow-up? Has anyone gotten ghosted after making it this far? Genuinely asking, not trying to be dramatic.

two weeks post-panel is absolutely normal at a company UPS's size. the decision usually involves 3-4 people aligning across calendars. one more follow-up at the 2-week mark is appropriate, then wait another week before reading into it.

I know the feeling, every day feels like a week when you're waiting. I had a similar gap with a large corp and it turned out HR was just slow processing the req. you probably haven't been ghosted, they're just bureaucratic.

thank you, this actually helps. going to send a short follow-up tomorrow and then try to stop checking my email every 20 minutes.

IE rotational programs at companies like this often have a cohort-start date constraint. if they're timing an offer to a cohort kickoff in a specific month, delays happen at the offer-approval level, not because of you. keep your other options warm but don't panic yet.
