interviewing at Stryker in a few weeks for a quality engineer role and I want to understand what the current process actually looks like, not the stuff from 3 years ago on Glassdoor.
if you've been through a Stryker loop recently (2024-2025) can you drop: role type, how many rounds, what they focused on, and roughly how long the whole thing took? doesn't have to be detailed, even just a quick breakdown helps.
trying to figure out if there's a technical component for quality roles specifically or if it's mostly behavioral.

not quality specifically but R&D software here. four rounds for me: recruiter, HM, a take-home design doc exercise (24hr window), and a panel. the panel was all behavioral, they'd already seen your technical work. total process was about 3.5 weeks.

did a marketing analytics interview there last fall. three rounds, fully behavioral except for a brief Excel/data exercise in round two that took maybe 20 minutes. very focused on how you handle regulatory constraints, which makes sense given the industry.

quality adjacent: did a regulatory affairs role there about 8 months ago. process was recruiter, HM, then a case study presentation to a small panel. the case was about identifying a QMS gap, so it was technically specific to the role. maybe 3 weeks start to finish.

this is useful. a QMS case makes sense. i'm going to prep some scenario-based answers around ISO 13485 and CAPA just in case. did you have to present the case live or submit it async?

live presentation, 15 minutes plus Q&A. they asked really detailed questions. felt less like an interview and more like a design review. which in retrospect was the point.
