Recurring thread for the community to share what you're building outside work. Could be a side project, an indie product, a learning project, a freelance gig, a writing project, anything.
Format suggestion (not required): What it is (1-2 sentences) Why you're building it (motivation: learning? money? itch to scratch?) Where you are in the journey (just starting, MVP, paying customers, etc.) What you'd love feedback on (positioning, technical decisions, pricing, distribution, etc.) Link if you want (not required, many people prefer to share privately)
Why this matters even if you never want to leave your day job: The "career insurance" effect is real. People with active side projects report higher confidence in their main job negotiations. The skill cross-pollination is real. Things you learn building solo apply directly to better judgment in your day job. The community is real. Some of the most valuable career relationships come from "I saw your project" → DM → coffee → mutual referral.
Be specific. "Building a SaaS" is less useful than "Building a Chrome extension that helps PMs draft PRDs faster, currently $0 MRR, 12 active users from r/ProductManagement."
Primly Team will rotate through and give specific feedback. Verified peer feedback always welcome.
