Applied in January, started the process in late January, had an offer in hand mid-March. That's about 6.5 weeks start to finish. Here's the exact sequence because I kept a spreadsheet and I have nothing else to do right now.
Week 1: Submitted application online. Got a recruiter reach-out 8 days later. (I was also referred by a former colleague which I think accelerated this.)
Week 2: Recruiter call, 30 minutes. Role alignment, basic background, salary range check.
Week 3: Hiring manager call, 45 minutes. More substantive. They had read my resume.
Weeks 3-4: Nothing. Crickets for 10 days. I sent a follow-up email to the recruiter at day 8, got a response same day saying they were finalizing the panel schedule.
Week 4-5: Virtual onsite scheduled. It was 4 blocks over 2 days. They gave me about 10 days advance notice.
Week 6: Onsite happened. 4 rounds, 1 hour each. Interview to debrief felt fast: I got a call from the recruiter 4 business days after the last round saying it went well and asking about my timeline and competing offers.
Week 7: Verbal offer. Written offer arrived 2 days after verbal.
Total: about 6.5 weeks with a referral and with me being responsive. I've heard from friends that without a referral the initial response time can be 3-5 weeks just to get to the recruiter call, which pushes the whole timeline to 9-12 weeks.
Also: the debrief after the onsite was notably quick. I've done processes at other enterprise companies where the debrief took 3+ weeks. Salesforce was faster than expected.
Any questions, happy to answer.
