submitted about 3 weeks ago and got a recruiter screen scheduled. i'm a new grad so i'm not sure if the loop is the same as what experienced folks go through or if they cut the system design and just do more coding rounds?
also the job posting didn't say much about in-office expectations. i'm in the bay area so that part is fine but i want to know before the recruiter call so i don't seem clueless. any recent new grad experience would help a lot.

not roblox specifically but most companies at this scale do a shorter loop for new grads, usually 3-4 rounds instead of 5. coding rounds stay, system design is either lighter or replaced with an object-oriented design question. ask the recruiter directly, they usually appreciate that you did your research.

for new grads at companies like this the system design is often scoped down to low-level design or a simplified version, not the full distributed systems deep-dive. but the behavioral round stays, and frankly new grads underestimate it. practice the ownership and 'tell me about a project you built end to end' story before you walk in.
