interviewing there in about 3 weeks for a senior backend role. would love to hear from anyone who went through the loop in the last 6 months. specifically: how many coding rounds what format for system design (collaborative or lecture) how long was the full process start to offer anything that surprised you
crowd-sourcing here because glassdoor reviews are always 18 months stale.

went through in February. 2 coding rounds, 1 system design, 1 behavioral, 1 product/architecture hybrid. 3.5 weeks total, recruiter was communicative throughout. system design was collaborative, interviewer drew alongside me on the whiteboard. no surprises.

mine was more like 4 weeks because one interviewer rescheduled twice. process itself was fine. the architecture discussion leaned hard on observability: what do you instrument, how do you debug a latency spike in prod. they care about on-call readiness.

good to know on the observability angle. i'll brush up on my metrics/tracing story. any specific tools they name-dropped or just general philosophy?

general philosophy mostly. i mentioned Datadog and they nodded but didn't ask me to go deeper on tooling. they wanted to hear how i think about what to measure, not which vendor i prefer.

mine was fast, about 2.5 weeks. they sponsor H1B which is why i targeted them specifically. recruiter confirmed early which i appreciated. no issues there.
