I'm interviewing at Ramp for a BizOps/Strategy role in about 3 weeks and I'm trying to build a picture of what the loop actually looks like now, not what was posted in 2023.
Specifically curious: how many rounds total, was there a case study component, how long did it take from first screen to offer, and was there any surprise round that people don't mention? The role involves a lot of cross-functional work with finance and eng, if that affects the round structure.
Drop what you know even if it's for a different function. Building a picture here.

ops/strategy at Ramp when I went through had a written case component. they sent it 24 hours before, 1-2 pages of background on a hypothetical spend category, you come in with a recommendation and walk through it. not a traditional MBB case but similar instinct: structured thinking, explicit tradeoffs, don't lead with a framework and fill in the boxes.

went through a marketing role loop there a few months ago. 4 rounds for me: intro call, hiring manager deep dive (lots of "tell me about a campaign where the data changed your mind"), a cross-functional panel with finance and sales stakeholders, then a final with a VP. timeline was 3 weeks start to offer.

from what i hear, Ramp moves fast when they like you and goes quiet when they're not sure. if you haven't heard in a week after a round, follow up. the recruiter pipeline there is lean.

this is super helpful, thank you all. the case comp makes sense for a strategy role, i'll prep accordingly.
