Responsibilities Manage all direct and indirect tax compliance processes - ensure accurate and timely filing of all statutory tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT, excise, withholding, etc.) in compliance with local legislation and PepsiCo policies. Oversee tax accounting and reporting local GAAP and US GAAP, including deferred tax, FIN48 positions, and hyperinflation accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and group alignment. Manage coordination with external consultants and auditors for corporate tax certification, transfer pricing, and other statutory engagements, ensuring high-quality and compliant deliverables. Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation and regulations, assess impacts on the company, and ensure timely implementation of necessary process or policy updates. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate tax risks through proactive monitoring, internal controls, and process reviews, ensuring the company's compliance and minimizing financial exposure. Ensure proper documentation and support during tax audits or inspections, managing communication with tax authorities and ensuring timely resolution of issues. Control statutory accounting of transactions to ensure compliance with Turkish Accounting Principles and accurate maintenance of company legal books. Coordinate statutory tax reporting activities, including AOP tax forecasts, monthly closing schedules, and PepsiCo group tax templates. Drive simplification, automation, and process improvement initiatives across tax processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and governance. Provide consultancy and guidance to internal departments on tax-related matters, supporting business decisions with accurate and compliant tax implications.
Qualifications Min 5+ years in Finance with strong accounting, tax knowledge SMMM certification is preferred (or CPA/ACA) University Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or MBA Excellent knowledge of English Excellent knowledge of MS tools as well as ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP Strong team and management skills Excellent communication skills Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to effectively manage time and operational workload through correct prioritization and process simplification
