nervous about Nike tech rotational -- anyone know how selective it actually is?

applied to Nike's technology rotational program (the early career one for new grads). got a recruiter screen scheduled and I'm kind of spiraling about it.

does anyone know how competitive this is? I've heard the brand attracts a huge volume of applicants and I can't find good rejection rate data anywhere. also not sure how technical the screen will be vs. just behavioral. I'm a CS grad with one internship but no Nike-adjacent experience.

any advice for the recruiter screen specifically? trying not to over-prepare for the wrong thing.

the brand halo is real, they get crushed with applicants. but rotational programs are also usually screened by recruiters who are more interested in enthusiasm and communication than raw technical depth at that stage. get your 'why nike' locked down first, then worry about DSA.

ok that's actually helpful thank you. i was about to start leetcoding hard and maybe that's premature for the recruiter screen.

i interned at a consumer goods company with a similar rotational structure a few years back. recruiter screens at those companies are almost entirely behavioral and motivational. save the technical prep for if you make it past that step.
