Title and Summary Engineering Operations Manager Overview

Dynamic Yield by Mastercard is seeking a strategic Engineering Operations Manager to drive high-impact initiatives that improve Engineering effectiveness, scalability, and operational excellence. In this individual contributor role, you will partner across Engineering and Mastercard to translate business priorities and enterprise requirements into measurable outcomes. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, influence how Engineering operates, and drive meaningful organizational change. The role reports to the VP of Engineering Operations.

Role

Drive Strategic Engineering Initiatives Partner with R&D, DevOps, Architecture, and Data Science teams to enable delivery, operational excellence, and scale Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy and planning through execution, adoption, and BAU transition Provide clear visibility into priorities, progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions

Partner with Mastercard & Influence Execution Lead Mastercard-driven Engineering initiatives and translate enterprise requirements into pragmatic execution plans Represent Engineering within Mastercard systems, ensuring accurate technical asset governance Build strong stakeholder relationships to drive alignment, collaboration, and informed decision-making

Enable Engineering Effectiveness & Scale -Define and drive Engineering enablement programs, including onboarding, learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing -Leverage Mastercard capabilities and resources to advance Engineering practices and AI adoption -Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness through process, tooling, automation, and organizational enablement

Support Governance & Operational Excellence -Partner with stakeholders on enterprise tech approval processes, sourcing, procurement, and vendor-related processes Coordinate Engineering risk management activities, including risk registry ownership (e.g., Archer)

All About You • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a technology or engineering environment • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups • Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, problem-solving approach to drive outcomes • Collaborative team player with strong ability to build alignment across functions and leadership levels • Innovative, analytical, and results-oriented, with a strong focus on continuous improvement • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Fluency in English, both written and spoken Corporate Security Responsibility
