sharing my offer from earlier this year, Vancouver HQ, Senior Analyst role on the Digital Analytics team. base: CAD $95,000 annual bonus target: 12% RRSP match: 4% of base equity: RSUs, CAD $40k over 4 years (1yr cliff) benefits: extended health + dental, quite good the employee discount is 40% which is notable if you actually wear the stuff
negotiated base up from an initial CAD $88k offer. recruiter had some room but was clear the band ceiling was around $100k for this level. no movement on equity.
for reference: 5 YOE, previous role was at a consumer brand in Toronto. the overall package feels roughly market but base is a bit below what i'd expect at a FAANG-adjacent tech shop. then again, lululemon is a retailer hiring tech, not a tech company, which matters for benchmarking.

the last point is worth saying louder. a lot of people benchmark retail/CPG tech roles against pure tech and then feel like they undersold. the culture and pace are different, the comp ceiling is different. not worse, just different math.

that 40% discount is no joke if you're already buying lululemon. basically offsets a meaningful chunk of the base gap depending on how much you spend there.

yes i ran that math. roughly CAD $1,200-1,600/yr in realized value at my buying habits. included it in my offer comparison spreadsheet.

useful data, thanks. are RSUs at lululemon public stock or phantom? genuine question, i know some companies confusingly call things RSUs that aren't.

public stock. LULU on Nasdaq. real equity, standard vesting. no weirdness.
