Gathering recent interview data for L'Oréal, drop your loops here

have a first round with L'Oréal in about 3 weeks for a global strategy role (based in NYC, reporting into the corporate CDO office). before i go heads-down on prep i want to know what's actually being asked these days.

if you've interviewed at L'Oréal in the last 6 months or so: what function, what level, how many rounds, what was the hardest question, and did they give you a case or presentation? drop it here. i'll aggregate and post a summary if there's enough responses.

trying to understand whether this is a traditional McKinsey-style case environment or something softer.

did a loop for a digital product role in NYC last spring. 4 rounds, no live case but they did give me a 1-week take-home: analyze a competitor's digital experience and tell us what L'Oreal should steal or avoid. behavioral questions were mostly entrepreneurship/ownership framed.

consumer insights / marketing analytics, Paris office (remote loop though). 3 rounds. panel round had a live data interpretation exercise, not really a case. they showed me a slide with category volume data and asked me to walk through what i saw. straightforward but you need to be comfortable talking through numbers out loud.

helpful, thank you. did they tell you in advance you'd have a data exercise or was it a surprise in the room?

surprise. well, the recruiter said "expect some analytical questions" which is how they telegraphed it. prepare for it and you're fine.

supply chain / ops role last fall. very different energy from what you're describing. more operational case study, lots of scenario planning questions. think APICS more than McKinsey. two rounds after recruiter screen.
