collecting recent LinkedIn interview data points, interviewing in 3 weeks

I have a data analyst loop at LinkedIn coming up and I'm trying to get a read on what the process looks like right now. The Glassdoor stuff is mostly 2-3 years old which feels stale given how much hiring processes have shifted.

Specifically for data/analytics roles: how heavy is the SQL round? Did you get a take-home or was it all live coding? Any stats/probability questions or mostly SQL + product sense?

If you've been through a LinkedIn loop in 2025 or 2026 for any role, drop what you remember. Even a rough sketch helps. Roles, rounds, rough timeline, anything that surprised you.

data science loop, Q4 2025. two SQL rounds, both live in a shared editor. one was analytical (multi-table join, window functions for retention cohorts). the other was more open-ended: here's a dataset, what story do you tell. no take-home. there was also a product sense round that felt like a PM interview with some metrics sprinkled in.

data eng loop was different. lots of pipeline design questions, some spark tuning scenarios, and one behavioral round that was entirely about cross-functional stakeholder work. surprisingly little live coding for a data eng role.

good to know they distinguish between data eng and analyst tracks. did the pipeline design questions assume a specific stack or were they stack-agnostic?

not a data role but I can confirm the timeline: my SWE loop ran about 3 weeks from phone screen to decision. they were pretty consistent about the weekly updates from the recruiter, which was more than I expected.
