Applied to a software engineer role on the KTD careers site about 3 weeks ago. No email, no rejection, nothing. I know corporate recruiting moves slow but is 3 weeks unusual or should I just assume it's a ghost?
I have an internship in retail-adjacent logistics so I thought my background might be relevant but I'm starting to wonder if I should move on. Anyone know what the typical ATS lag looks like here or if there's a better way to get on the radar? Does LinkedIn outreach to their recruiters actually work or is it noise to them?

3 weeks is nothing at a company that size, especially if you applied through the careers site cold. their req volume is high and triage is slow. i'd say 6-8 weeks before assuming a permanent ghost. linkedin outreach can work but message the recruiter, not the hiring manager, and make it short. one sentence on why this specific role, not a cover letter in a DM.

logistics internship is actually a decent angle for them. supply chain and fulfillment are real use cases at KTD. might be worth mentioning that specifically in an outreach message rather than just following up on 'my application'. give them a reason to look.
