I'm at the end of my OPT and the 60-day countdown is real. I have a first-round call with HF next week and I need to know before I go further whether they sponsor H1Bs. Their careers page doesn't say. I've seen some conflicting info online, some people saying yes, others saying they're incorporated in France and it gets complicated.
Has anyone gone through the HF process recently on a visa? Did they bring it up themselves or do I need to raise it before wasting everyone's time? I really don't want to get to offer stage and find out they can't proceed. Already had that happen once this year.

from what i've heard in the recruiting world: HF US entity does sponsor H1B for US-based roles. but please ask the recruiter directly in your first call, don't wait. any decent recruiter will not hold it against you and it saves everyone time if there's a mismatch. something like 'can you confirm this role supports visa sponsorship' is totally normal.

their distributed nature can actually be an advantage here. a lot of the roles are genuinely remote and some can be based outside the US. might be worth asking if the role you're applying for has a UK or EU option, depending on your situation.
