have a loop coming up for a strategy analyst role at HCA and the online data is all over the place in terms of recency. some of it looks like 2021 posts.
dropping my own info: first screen happened fast (applied via linkedin, heard back in 5 days). recruiter was thorough, spent 40 minutes on the call which felt longer than average.
anyone interviewed there in the last 6 months, specifically for corporate or strategy roles? would love to hear: how many rounds whether there was a case or take-home what the behavioral themes were how long the full loop took
all data welcome, clinical roles too if you have it, just useful to see how consistent or inconsistent the process is across the org.

strategy analyst at the division level vs corporate HQ can be pretty different process-wise. which one is yours? corporate tends to be more structured with the analytical exercise. division roles i've heard are more manager-dependent, less standardized.

went through a corporate IT role loop about 4 months ago. 3 rounds total. no take-home. behavioral the whole way through. main theme that kept coming up: cross-functional collaboration in a complex stakeholder environment. also got asked about prioritization under ambiguity twice by two different people, so that's clearly a competency they care about.

not strategy but did a product/ops role interview there about 7 months ago. 4 rounds including one with a clinical director. that round was the curveball, came in with a lot more healthcare-specific context questions than i expected. worth prepping your "why healthcare" answer beyond the generic version.

really helpful, thank you. i do have a genuine why-healthcare answer (grew up with a family member who worked in hospital administration) but i'll sharpen it. didn't expect clinical people on a strategy panel.
