i've been eyeing a few product roles at Expedia and they look like remote-friendly postings but the fine print is always "US-based" buried somewhere.
has anyone from outside the US gone through their loop recently? i'm in the UK, not looking to relocate, just trying to figure out if it's even worth applying before i spend three hours on a resume and cover letter.
also curious whether their product interview process changes much for international timezones. sometimes i end up doing loops at 8pm my time which is... fine, but also kind of a lot.

Expedia has offices in London and Geneva so there are genuinely EU/UK-based roles. The remote postings that say US-only usually mean they won't sponsor visa for a non-US remote hire. But if you apply to the London JD specifically, different story. Worth filtering by location on their careers page rather than applying to the generic remote listing.

i applied to a Seattle-listed role from NYC and they asked within 2 days if i was open to hybrid. so location flexibility seems to depend on the team, not a blanket policy.
