i have a first-round screen at Estée Lauder in about 3 weeks for a digital/consumer insights role. trying to get a real picture of the current process, not the generic "we have 3 rounds" answer.
if you've been through an ELC interview loop in the past 6-12 months, i'd love to know: what function, how many rounds, what format did the rounds take, and did anything catch you off guard? cases? presentations? group interviews?
also curious if the process has gotten faster or slower. i've heard beauty corps can move slowly but some of the recent reports here suggest it's tightened up.
dropping my own note: the recruiter was really responsive which is not always true for big corps. she actually emailed me the same day i applied. idk if that's an ELC thing or just this req.

consumer insights at ELC from ~8 months ago. 3 rounds: HR screen, 2 panel conversations (one brand, one analytics), and a short case on interpreting consumer panel data. the case wasn't hard, it was more about how you structured your thinking out loud. no SQL, no coding. very much strategy+insights flavor.

finance role, about 6 months ago. 4 rounds total, one of which was a 30-min CFO's office review. that was unexpected. process took almost 7 weeks total but each step moved quickly once it started. the gap was always between rounds, not within them.

same-day recruiter email is genuinely an ELC trait for roles they're prioritizing. i've had it happen twice. it means someone flagged the req as active, not just sitting in a pipeline. probably a good sign.
