Applied about 3 weeks ago for a new grad SWE role. Got a recruiter screen last week and it went okay I think? She said "we'll be in touch within a few days" and it's been 6 business days. I know i know, recruiter timelines are approximate at best, but i'm also running out of runway on my other offers.
has anyone done the new grad process recently and can give me a rough timeline from recruiter screen to offer? or is no news just... no news here.
six business days after a recruiter screen is still totally normal, especially if the team is heads-down. i'd send a polite email to the recruiter today, not asking "where am i" but asking if there's anything else you can provide. it prompts them without being pushy.
i went through their new grad loop earlier this year. recruiter screen to technical screen was about 8 days. technical to onsite was another 2 weeks. offer came 4 days after onsite. so full pipeline was maybe 5-6 weeks from first call. yours sounds fine, just slow bureaucracy.
