got my onsite scheduled for early next month, PM role on their growth team. trying to build a real picture of what the loop looks like right now.
for folks who've been through it recently (2025 or 2026), would love to know: how many rounds total, and did any of them double as an "informal" conversation? for PM specifically, did they run a metrics/estimation exercise or was it more product sense? did the cross-functional background matter or was it mostly about B2B product experience?
anything helps. the JD was pretty sparse on loop structure.

went through their PM loop about 5 months ago for a different team (network services). 5 rounds: one product sense (design a feature for cloudflare workers), one metrics deep dive, one cross-functional case, and two behaviorals. the metrics round had an estimation component, not a pure SQL thing. they want to know how you'd measure if something is working, not just that you know what DAU means.

i interviewed for a PM role on their zero trust team. similar structure to what priya described. one thing I'll add: they care a lot about how you think about enterprise customers, not consumer. even the product sense questions had a B2B angle. knowing some basics about SASE, zero trust networking concepts, that stuff was useful context.

this is super helpful, thank you both. the B2B angle makes sense given their customer base. going to lean into my enterprise SaaS PM background more than I was planning to.
