got my first Cisco recruiter screen scheduled for next week and I honestly have no idea what to expect timeline-wise after that. like, do they move quickly or is this a 3-month thing?
also is the HackerRank they send beforehand timed? I've been practicing but I get so in my head during timed stuff.
I know this is a big company so probably varies a lot by team but any recent experience would really help.
3.5 weeks from recruiter screen to offer in my case. hacker rank was timed but it's 90 min and the problem difficulty is medium-ish. breathe. they're not trying to fail you on the first round.
cisco timeline varies wildly by org. cisco networking vs. cisco security vs. cisco collaboration are basically different companies. if you have a recruiting contact, ask them directly what the expected timeline is. big co recruiters usually know and will tell you.
didn't even think to just ask the recruiter. will do that in the screen. thank you.
did a cisco new grad loop about 4 months ago. took about 5 weeks end to end. they were pretty good about keeping me updated. the recruiter replied to my follow-up emails same day which was a nice change.
