collecting data points: anyone interviewed at Schwab for data/analytics roles recently?

interviewing at Schwab for a Senior Data Scientist role on the wealth management side in about 3 weeks. been prepping behavioral but trying to understand what the technical rounds actually look like for DS/analytics roles there.

do they do SQL tests? case studies? ML modeling questions? presentation rounds? i've seen wildly different things described online and most of it is 2+ years old.

if you've been through a data or analytics loop there in the last year drop your experience below. role level, team if you know it, what the rounds were. trying to build a clearer picture.

i did an interview for a data analyst role on the client insights team last fall. there was a SQL assessment sent async before the technical screen, medium difficulty, nothing fancy. then the screen had some Python pandas questions and a business case about client churn. no ML modeling for my level.

not DS specifically but i interviewed for a quant analytics role. there was a case study component where they gave you a dataset ahead of time and expected a short slide deck. they care a lot about framing the business question, not just running the numbers.

the take-home + slides format makes sense for wealth management. they probably care whether you can talk to advisors not just produce a model. noted, going to prep a cleaner story around business impact.

for data engineering adjacent roles i can say they do ask about pipeline reliability and what happens when upstream data is late or malformed. classic financial services concern. also asked about my experience with regulatory data requirements which i was not expecting.
