Got laid off a few weeks ago and Brex is one of my top targets for a marketing or ops role. I've got a recruiter screen scheduled in two weeks and want to go in with as much real intel as possible.
If you've interviewed at Brex in the last 6-8 months, any of this would help: what role and level how many rounds, roughly how long what behavioral themes came up (growth, ambiguity, failure, metrics) anything that surprised you vs what you expected
I'll aggregate and share back here. honestly just trying to not walk into this blind.

did a PMM screen there about 4 months ago (didn't get past it, to be honest). they asked a lot about go-to-market for a specific product segment. not generic "how do you launch a product" but really digging into financial services positioning specifically. if you don't have a strong answer on ICP and messaging for finance teams, prep that.

ops loop at Brex about 6 months ago: 4 rounds, one was a case on scaling a workflow that had a manual step. very metrics-driven. they wanted to know what success looked like quantitatively before you got into the solution. i almost jumped straight to the solution and my interviewer gently pumped the brakes.

that's exactly the kind of thing i needed to hear. i tend to go solution-first too. noted.

for ops and strategy roles the behavioral themes were pretty consistent with what you'd see at a high-growth fintech: handling ambiguity, influencing without authority, operating with incomplete data. same frameworks as consulting, slightly different vocabulary. STAR works fine, just make the metrics specific.
