i applied to the technology analyst program and got an interview invite for next week. i'm honestly not sure what to expect. the job description was kind of vague, just said "consulting delivery" and "technology solutions."
is this going to be a real coding round? or more behavioral? i've prepped leetcode but i'm worried i'm over-indexing on that and should be doing more STAR stories instead.
also the recruiter mentioned a "virtual assessment" as a first step. does anyone know what that looks like? is it one of those gamified tests?
feeling a bit lost on how to split my prep time.

the virtual assessment for the analyst level is usually a mix of cognitive/situational stuff, not a coding test. think scenario-based questions and some reasoning problems. google "Accenture digital assessment" and you'll find practice versions. the actual coding comes later if you're on the tech track.

behavioral prep is more important than you'd think for analyst level at big consulting firms. they're calibrating culture fit and communication as much as anything technical. your STAR stories need to be ready. the coding for new analyst roles is usually not that hard, they want to see you can write clean logic and explain your thinking.

i did the accenture tech analyst process about 8 months ago. the virtual assessment was timed, mix of reading, logic, and some short scenario questions. wasn't terrible. the behavioral rounds afterward were the harder part for me because i didn't have a lot of "client" examples from school. i used project team examples and it was fine.
