Accenture Technology Senior Analyst offer breakdown, Chicago, 2026

numbers_only · 4 replies

posting for the data set.

Role: Technology Senior Analyst (roughly Level 11) Location: Chicago (hybrid, 2-3 days office) YOE: 3 years

Base: $95,000 Annual bonus target: 10% (mine came in at 8% last year, so call it that) Signing bonus: $7,500 Total cash year 1: ~$110k

No equity. Accenture doesn't do equity at this level in most tracks.

Benefits are standard large enterprise, health is decent, 401k match vests gradually. They do have a formal learning budget which i've actually used.

FYI the internal leveling at Accenture is weird. Senior Analyst is NOT senior. It's basically year 2-4 of your career. Manager is where it starts to feel like what other companies call senior IC. Calibrate expectations accordingly when comparing offers.

the leveling confusion is real and it trips people up. i know someone who took an accenture "manager" offer thinking it was a step up but it was basically a senior IC with a weird title. the total comp math is also different when there's no equity, you have to factor in that explicitly when comparing to tech companies.

base seems about right for chicago but low compared to tech companies at similar YOE. the tradeoff being stability and actually defined career pathing. just make sure you're comparing apples to apples on the no-equity piece. $110k cash vs $140k cash + RSUs is not close.

agreed. the honest trade is stability + brand name + structured learning vs total comp. if you're earlier career the brand can open doors later. if you're 6+ YOE the comp gap probably isn't worth it unless you specifically want consulting.

did they push back when you negotiated? curious if the base has much flex or if they're pretty locked on that band.
